ORQESTRA aims to provide practical, formally verified and efficient implementations of Post-Quantum Cryptography algorithms addressing the current need towards bridging the gap between the computing intensive problems of PQC and the operational deployment of cryptography systems that can provide certifiable, quantum-resistant level of security. To do so, ORQESTRA will develop a palette of programmable software optimizations and shared hardware accelerators in a cost-effective manner.
ORQESTRA introduces several novel concepts for providing the defence domain with secure QR cryptosystems, whereas it provides a new quantum-security paradigm as the key element for having fully functional quantum-safe communication networks with practical security, over long distances and legacy infrastructures.
Military Usage Scenarios
To validate the benefits and effectiveness of ORQESTRA, 8 Use Case Scenarios from diverse domains (Land, Maritime and Air) covering a variety of realistic, mixed-criticality applications, comprising heterogeneous devices will be implemented.
- Land Quantum-Safe Compliant Security Solutions for Safeguarding Terrestrial Operations
- Maritime – Enabling Post-Quantum Maritime Critical Infrastructures
- Air – Future-Proofing Next-Generation Aerial Communications
